NOTIFICATION – APPLICATION TO LIFT STAYS GRANTED BY THE SINGAPORE COURT ON 25 JANUARY 2023 (1) SAPURA FABRICATION SDN. BHD., (2) SAPURA OFFSHORE SDN. BHD. & (3) SAPURA 1200 LTD

1. We refer to the above matter and the Orders of Court recognising Sapura Fabrication Sdn. Bhd., Sapura Offshore Sdn. Bhd. and Sapura 1200 Ltd’s (the “Sapura Entities”) reorganisation proceedings in Malaysia as foreign main proceedings in Singapore (the “Recognition Orders”).
2. Please be informed that on 21 March 2023, the Sapura Entities filed applications for the stays granted by the Singapore Court on 25 January 2023 to be lifted (the “Applications”). The summonses and the 2nd Affidavit of Melissa Binti Lokman can be accessed via this link:

3. Kindly note that the Applications have been fixed for a hearing before the Honourable Justice Vinodh Coomaraswamy on 11 April 2023 at 10am, at Chamber 6A of the Supreme Court of Singapore. The Court has also directed that any submissions and bundles of authorities be e-filed and tendered to Court by 4 April 2023, 4pm.
   • If you wish to attend or instruct lawyers to attend the hearing, please email Oon & Bazul LLP at restructuring.team@oonbazul.com by no later than 4pm on 7 April 2023 with the following:
   • The name(s) of the person(s) or lawyer(s) attending the hearing;
   • The full name of the party that the person or lawyer is representing; and
4. Whether the said party is supporting, opposing or not taking any position on the Applications.
